Why would you need a data plan for your cell phone
If You Don't Have One Already, Why Would You Need Your Service Provider's Data Plan? Have you thought about looking up a phone number without paying 411 charges. What about (if you don't have GPS) going online to get directions or viewing a map of an unfamiliar area in order to choose the quickest route across town. What about locating your favorite style of live entertainment or restaurant while you are out.

It used to be that you had to engage in an almost neurotic planning session to get the most from an evening out: Before you can leave home, you must pull up online directions for all the places you intend to visit. But before you try out a new restaurant, you have to discuss all the different cuizines and reach an agreement. You must know exactly where you are going before your online map can be relevant and don't even think about it. You cannot change your mind because that would require the lo-tech process of asking someone on the street for directions, or even worse, getting random stranger's opinion on the best Italian restaurant since we changed our minds about going Mexican.

With a data-friendly (enlarged screen and an enhanced keyboard) phone and a dat plan, you can literally grab the phone, get in the car and discuss the restaurant on the way to the freeway, Google that cuizine in the area, map the address or GPS your way there. A data plan will help you to use the web and phone apps without that old nickling & diming feeling. This example was very specific, but there are more uses for data than I would care to give specific examples for. Let's list some of the many uses for data:

[] Bluetooth Zero-Install Kits

Just consider what you can do with a simple web browser and Google® or Yahoo!®. You're at one of the big department stores staring at a great sale price on a flatscreen TV. Because you will have to live with this decision for at least a few years, you want absolutely the best deal. Someone else might buy the last one, if you leave to shop other department stores. Why agonize when you can simply open a search engine and see if this really is the best price? Need more persuading? Some of these uses for a data plan could send you scampering

Wireless Advantages - By now, everyone knows the advantage of, when you're lost, being able to call to clarify directions, without having to locate a pay phone or depend on the accuracy of a convenience store worker! It is now standard to be able to call and say I'm running a little late, without having to make ourselves later, by trying to locate a pay phone. Even if you are not the type who must keep up with the very latest technology, you have probably probably accepted having a cell phone as a part of basic emergency preparedness for you and your loved ones. Should an emergency occur, a cell phone can move from the "convenience" category to that of "necessity". Taking the time to add towing and roadside assistance phone

numbers to your phone's directory are matters of diligence and stewardship rather than technical fanaticism. If you practice common-sense preparedness on a regular basis, and find that you carry your phone most of the time, it might even make sense to use some of the features on your phone, such as the calendar and. perhaps, the alarm to remind you of important tasks. If you don't consider it trendy or distasteful to use your cell phone to save time, what about sending an urgent text message to 10 of your family members at once, within seconds, instead of using 10 minutes or longer per each person? Be careful, you could be on your way to using your cell phone to your advantage.
